Dining at our Character Restaraunt
Dining at the Anchor Inn is an experience not to be missed - there is something for everyone on our extensive menu. You can choose from old favourites to dishes with a contemporary twist - with locally sourced ingredients, each meal has been individually designed and originally named for our customers to enjoy.
We offer an excellent choice of starters, mains and desserts. Our starters are truly original – not to be missed, our meats are deliciously tender, our vegetarian meals imaginative and there are daily fish specials, also an array of desserts to tempt even those who don’t have a sweet tooth! For those of you who have a special dietary requirement, then do let us know and we will go out of our way to cater for you.
Why not drop by the Anchor Inn on your way home from work and experience our popular “A Drive in the Country” special. We offer 2 courses for £10 or 3 courses for £13 – available from Noon until 7pm - Mondays to Saturdays. Our special menu choices changes weekly.

Dining in the Captain’s Cabin
The Captain’s Cabin is available for private functions and private dining. For functions, the cabin can comfortably seat 30 people with buffet style dining. For those special events, why not book the Cabin for a private meal with friends and family. For private dining, we can accommodate a minimum of 12 to 15 people.
