We are located in Whittonstall and can be approached from 2 main routes.
From the North:
Leave the A1, take the A69 signed for Hexham, continue to the A68, following the A68 for approximately 6 miles. Take left turning for Whittonstall. Continue along this road until you reach a T-Junction, turn right onto the B6309. The Inn will be on your right hand side.
From the South:
Leave the A1, take the A694 turn off at Swalwell and follow signs for Consett and Shotley Bridge. Once in Ebchester (approximately 10 miles), turn right onto the B6309 and continue for about two miles until you arrive at Whittonstall. The Inn will be on your left hand side.
For those of you wishing to use public transportation there are regular bus services operating from the centre of Hexham. The Anchor Inn is also only a 5 minute taxi ride away from Stocksfield railway station.
